Mineral spring "Hiadeľská Kyslá"

Mineral spring "Hiadeľská Kyslá" is located approximately 4 kilometers north of the village. In the past people used hollowed tree stumps to catch spring water, as pressure built the water was forced through the stump in a small fountain. Since then, the spring has been reconstructed and currently has a flow in excess of 0.05 l/s. The spring has a high iron (Fe) and manganese (Mn) content, which makes the water good for your heart and blood pressure. The water does not contain any bacteria or microorganisms, so it is also suitable for the treatment of skin diseases.

However, because of its acidity and elevated concentration of trace elements Fe and Mn, it is not recommended that it's drunk every day.
