Heraldry

Coat of arms of Hiadeľ was drawn by Mr. Ladislav Čisárik. It´s formed by silver spruce growing up from the lower edge of the green shield. At treetop it´s accompanied by silver astronomical objects – 8-pointed star and inverted crescent moon with a face. On the silver meadow, behind the tree trunk stands silver scythe with gold handle and gold rake.

Hiadeľ municipality flag consists of five horizontal stripes: yellow, white, green, yellow and white. The flag has proportion of sides 2:3 and is ended by three points, i.e. by two slits reaching to the third of flag sheet. The community flag has the same color pattern as the community coat of arms.
