Hradište

Hradište (958 m) is a mountain in the middle of the Low Tatras ridge. It's the last significant peak on the ridge. It hasn't been sufficiently studied to be able to determine its development. Based on pottery found on the site and its surroundings, we can estimate its origin back to the late Bronze Age period. It is likely that Hradište fulfilled the function of a guard on that path and possibly a functioning market place and shelter for buyers in winter months.
